Star batswoman and India opener Smriti Mandhana will lead a Board President’s XI to welcome England Women for the first game on the India tour ahead of a three-match ODI series. The focus would be on in-form Mandhana who is touted as the next leader of Women Cricket. India opener scored 196 runs in the recently concluded three-match ODI series against New Zealand.
Meanwhile, England would want to take this opportunity to get their players in the groove before the start of the ODI series. The following three-match ODI series, forming part of the ICC Championship, is slated to start on the 22nd January with second and third ODIs scheduled on 25th and 28th February respectively.
