ICC Women’s World T20-2018

Bangladesh Women and South Africa Women 20th Match Preview

Bangladesh Women and South Africa would be looking to salvage pride in their final fixture of World T20 and sign off high when both the teams will meet at St Lucia on Sunday. While Bangladesh has failed to secure a single win in the tournament, South Africa Women lost the momentum after securing a win in their opening game.

South Africa Women

After starting the campaign with 7 wickets win over Sri Lanka in the opening game, South Africa failed to carry the momentum and suffered 31 runs defeat against Windies Women in their second encounter. With hopes still alive, they faced England Women in their third encounter to secure a place in semi-finals but were thrashed by 7 wickets and got finally knocked out of the tournament.

With only pride to play for, South Africa Women would be hoping to secure a win and end the campaign on a high.

Bangladesh Women

Bangladesh had one of the worst runs in the tournament. Placed at the bottom with three defeats of three games, they are still looking for their maiden win. They suffered 60 runs defeat in their opening game and their hopes to advance to next level were shattered when they faced another 7 wickets loss against England under the DLS method. In their third encounter, Sri Lanka registered 25 runs win over them only to hold their maiden win a bit longer.

Bangladesh Women would be desperately looking for a win to have something from the tournament.
