India tour of Australia, 2018-19
Australia vs India, 2nd T20I
After a heartbreaking loss in the first T20I, India will look to avenge their loss when they meet the Aussies for the second time in this series at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. India have fond memories at this venue as they won the second T20I back in 2016 and took an unassailable led in the 3 match T20 series.
Going into the first T20I, India were undoubtedly the favourites but the partnership between Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis took the game away from India as they were left to chase 174 from 17 overs in a rain-curtailed game. In the process, Australia broke their losing run and gave a wake-up call to the visitors who came here with full confidence.
India had to suffer from a poor show of Krunal Pandya who was tonked by Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell for 55 runs in his quota of 4 overs. A lot of questions were raised over his inclusion in the team at the expense of Yuzvendra Chahal after the match ended, but being a youngster and playing his first International match away from home must have made him nervous.
Can India bounce back like a true champion or Australia will take the series in Melbourne itself? We will get the answers tomorrow.
Venue- Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne

India: Shikhar Dhawan blasted his way with a valuable knock of 76 runs. His opening partner the vice-captain Rohit Sharma missed out in the last game but his tally against Australia is magnificent and he scored a century at this same venue in 2016 ODi series.
The big man Virat Kohli didn’t deliver in the last game but his batting prowess is magnificent and he knows how to turn the tables around. Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant invigorate India’s chase down the order, therefore the duo is a good choice in your Dream11 team.
Australia: Aaron Finch has to come up with something relevant and shrug off his poor show, in his last 5 innings he has got 44 runs which do not reflects his calibre.
All-rounder Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis were the stars in the last game for Australia and they will look to deliver again. Adam Zampa got the big fish Virat Kohli on a pitch which changed a bit after the rain interval.
Among others, D’Arcy Short, Chris Lynn are also a lethal pair who are capable of hitting lusty blows in T20’s.
