When and where:
Australia A will take on South Africa A in what will be the fourth game of the India A Quadrangular Series, 2018, on (August 19) at Dr Gokaraju Liala Gangaaraju ACA Cricket Ground, Vijayawada.
Australia A have come to this series with a strong squad. Their captain Travis Head has been in the running to become the first choice keeper for the national team. They have an amalgamation of young players who are just starting off their career and some experienced ones. This campaign holds integral importance for the side, and they are readily looking for some fresh talent to rejuvenate the roster of the national team.
Meanwhile, South Africa A also have brought along a competitive squad. But, the experience level of the players isn’t comparable to that of Australia. Most of the players are still relatively new to the international cricket scene, and this tour of India will help them understand the sub-continent conditions better.
However, the first two games of the tournament have been a washout, and a similar weather has been forecasted for the day of this game.
The match will begin at 9:00 AM IST.
