Kerala government will be revealing the results of Nava Kerala lottery on 03 October 2018 where the lucky winner will be awarded a prize money of 1 Lakh rupees.
An initiative for raising funds for the distressed victims of Kerala flood, Nava Kerala mission is an effort for gathering money for the rebuilding Kerala.
The Kerala lottery department had revealed their target of selling 96 lakh tickets which in turn would generate Rs 100 crore. A single ticket was bought for Rs 250 and a book of 10 tickets cost Rs. 1,943.
First Prize: 1 Lakh
Consolation Prize: Rs. 5,000

Minister of Finance and Lotteries, Thomas Issac said in a statement, “The first prize carrying an amount of Rs 1 lakh in each of the nine series would be awarded to 90 people and a total of 1,08,000 tickets are contenders of winning Rs 5,000 each.”
The government laid out a plan where they printed 96 lakh tickets in a total of nine series. “We target to raise Rs 100 crore which will bring profit for state government after meeting all the expenses of this lottery if we succeed in selling 96 lakh tickets.”
The government had announced that the tickets could be sold by resident associations, NGOs, and political organizations after collecting them from the lottery offices. There was a 25 per cent commission for those who were selling the Nava Kerala Lottery tickets.
Members of Kudumbashree, a poverty eradication and women empowerment programme implemented by the Government of Kerala were also assigned the task of selling lottery tickets where they raised Rs 7.29 crore.
